Dispute Resolution 2018-12-20

SHIELD has successfully defended THREEMAN RECORDINGS KB in SEK 1.5 million claim

Threeman Recordings KB (“Threeman”) was sued for compensation for alleged copyright infringement and/or breach of contract by former members of the world-famous heavy metal band ENTOMBED.

In short, the plaintiffs argued that Threeman on grounds of copyright infringement and/or grounds of contractual relationships should pay approximately SEK 1.5 million in compensation for income relating to the distribution of albums, selling of merchandise and holding of concerts.

The court dismissed, in full, the plaintiffs demand for compensation and awarded Threeman compensation for its costs incurred.

“Jakob Lamm’s assistance was a key factor to the outcome of the law suit. His actions in and out of court have been, from what I can tell, excellent!” says Alx Hellid, owner of Threeman and an original member of ENTOMBED.
